Marketers LLC Describes Essential Elements to Website Success

Marketers LLC has spent years studying website design strategy and putting it to use for clients. Noting that the business world continues to evolve, Marketers LLC believes it’s important for businesses to understand the elements that can help them succeed. According to Marketers LLC, those elements all surround making websites safe and easy for customers to use. Recently, Marketers LLC provided InformationNation tips and tricks for website marketing success.

InformationNation: What’s the first step if my business doesn’t have a website at all?

Marketers LLC: The first step is finding a web hosting company that provides reliable, uninterrupted service. This is essential.

InformationNation: And the second?

Marketers LLC: Securing a domain name that accurately represents your business.

InformationNation: What if my domain name is taken?

Marketers LLC: There are several services that can suggest catchy alternatives to your name, including Panabee.com.

InformationNation: Should I plan my site out before I have it designed?

Marketers LLC: A site map is crucial. Marketers LLC urges our clients to thoroughly map things out before design begins.

InformationNation: Is this to make sure the site has a layout that a visitor can easily understand?

Marketers LLC: Partly. It also helps with SEO, since Google considers site layout when determining site ranking.

InformationNation: Should I include my mission statement on my website?

Marketers LLC: Including a short, informative mission statement is fine, but refrain from posting a long, convoluted statement that users will skim and maybe even skip altogether.

InformationNation: What about samples of our products?

Marketers LLC: For businesses that can illustrate examples of previous work, it can make a huge difference to include a “portfolio” section on a website.

InformationNation: What if I don’t want phone calls from customers? Can I leave that off of the contact section of my site?

Marketers LLC: You can rely solely on e-mail and even instant chat, as long as you commit to responding to every request reliably.

InformationNation: I collect credit card information on my site. What type of security should I offer?

Marketers LLC: Good SSL encryption is a basic requirement of any site that offers online shopping. Sites like VeriSign and Entrust can provide this service for you.

InformationNation: I have a social media site. Is it important to include a link to that site on my business page?

Marketers LLC: Yes, you should link to all social media sites and websites on each of your pages to increase visibility.

InformationNation: More people are using smartphones and tablets now. Should I address that?

Marketers LLC: It’s more important than ever that your site be completely functional across all platforms.

InformationNation: Should my site incorporate Flash?

Marketers LLC: It’s best if you leave Flash off your site altogether. In today’s mobile environment, you may find your site doesn’t work at all on most devices and it just doesn’t give the customers what they want—information.

InformationNation: What about launching an informational video on my main page?

Marketers LLC: If you have a video or music on your main page, make the video launch in “pause” mode and invite visitors to view it if they are interested.

Marketers LLC is based in Phoenix, Arizona, where it provides clients with a full range of marketing and business development services. With years of experience, Marketers LLC is poised to help businesses explore the ever-changing world of web design.

O2 Media’s Designing Spaces on Lifetime with Stuart Silloway

Designing Spaces

Designing Spaces

The following segment aired on Lifetime Television. Joining the show was Stuart Silloway from Samsung. He was here to talk more about the Samsung TVs.

Host, Debie Marie: While Ted is getting ready for game day in Milwaukee, we are setting up here. And what better way to watch the game than on a brand new large screen HDTV? Remember when you watched games on TV sets that looked like this? Well, times have certainly changed. And with advent of digital technology, watching sports on TV has taken on a whole new dimension of excitement. With us today is Stuart Silloway from Samsung. Hi Stuart.

StaurtSilloway: Hi, how are you.

Debie: Welcome to the show!

StaurtSilloway: Pleasure to be here.

Debie: The big screen TV market can be confusing to homeowners looking to upgrade their home entertainment center. We hear that not all HD is the same, so can you explain the term 1080P, which is supposed to be the best HD quality?

StaurtSilloway: Well, it absolutely is the best HD quality and you are right. It can be very confusing.

Debie: Yes.

StaurtSilloway: There are a lot of terms out there.

Debie: Um hmm.

StaurtSilloway: The bottom line is that you want a lot of information on the screen. The more information, the better you are going to be able to see the gameor whatever you are watching. For instance, you want to be able to tell the difference between astro-turf and grass when you are watching football or whatever you’re watching. You want to be able to see all those details. With 1080P, you are guaranteed that. You’re going to get the best picture from whatever source you have connected to it, whether it iscable or DVD or whatever.

Debie: OK. So that’s going to give us that sharp clear image?

StaurtSilloway: Absolutely.

Debie: OK, and as we can see, this set is not very deep.  It’s perfect for a living room like this or maybe a den.

StaurtSilloway: Absolutely.  This is one of our flat panel technologies from Samsung, LCD and Plasma, both flat panels.  I can put it on a table like this.  I can get a bracket and hang it on a wall.

Debie: Oh, really? OK.

StaurtSilloway: We can even run the wires behind drywall or all kinds of things to make this really clean, very shallow installation.

Debie: OK, now you said LCD and Plasma. What is the difference between the two?

StaurtSilloway: Well, there are a lot of differences, but the bottom line is how you choose to use it. What room you’re going to put it in. At Samsung, we make both and we believe that there is a customer for both.

Debie: OK.

StaurtSilloway: It really depends on the room you are in.  LCD is traditionally better for more brightly lit rooms; it does better in those environments.

Debie: OK.

StaurtSilloway: Plasma does a little better in darker rooms, where it can show off its deeper richer colors. Now if you have a den that might be a better place for that.

Debie: Or a basement room, yes?

StaurtSilloway: OK, right. Those kinds of things.

Debie: Alright, well, we are here today to see football and after that we have baseball, basketball, golf and an occasional movie. So why do we want to watch sports on this TV?

StaurtSilloway: Well, this is Samsung’s 52 inch, what we call our 71 series LCD television.

Debie: OK.

StaurtSilloway: And this has a lot of great technology in it that’s going to make the most of all of those things. And like a lot of Samsung LCD televisions, one of the great things about it is that it has a really wide viewing angle. When you watch sports, you don’t watch it alone, do you?

Debie: Nope. The whole room is usually filled.

StaurtSilloway: That’s right. You have a lot of people coming over. Everybody wants to be able to see everything going on. You don’t want it to fade off on the edges.

Debie: Right. Oh OK, so that won’t do this. You can have people on the sides.  Pretty much everyone can see it.

StaurtSilloway: Absolutely.

Debie: What about if you sit on the floor?  A lot of people like to sit on the floor and look up.

StaurtSilloway: Well especially when you’re playing video games a lot of people get close and have to look up.

Debie: Right.

StaurtSilloway: That 178 degrees is not just left and right; it’s also up and down.

Debie: OK, good to know. Now I’ve heard about motion blur reduction. What does that mean?

StaurtSilloway: Well, LCD televisions started out as converted computer monitors.

Debie: Hmm.

StaurtSilloway: And when you’ve got a computer monitor, your spreadsheet doesn’t change very often.

Debie: Yeah, not usually.

StaurtSilloway: On television, especially when watching sports, there’s a lot of action going on. There’s a lot of motion going on.

Debie: Right.

StaurtSilloway: And those early twenty years ago, LCD televisions did not do that motion very well. So at Samsung, what we’ve done is come in here with our auto motion plus a hundred and twenty hertz technology in it. We have been able to smooth that motion out, create crisp clean motion so that you can see the traces of the football going across the screen, the laces on the football.  You can see all the players very clearly as they’re playing.

Debie: Hmm, that’s amazing. Now, I’m looking for speakers and I don’t see them on here. How is the sound quality?

StaurtSilloway: It’s fantastic.

Debie: OK. Would it be anything less?Where are the speakers?

StaurtSilloway: Well, we hid them. One of the challenges with sound quality is that you need big speakers to produce good sound. But you buy a flat panel television like this to get a clean installation in your home. So you don’t take up a lot of space. Those are kind of opposed to each other. What we did was hide the speakers behind the panel. And we have a little gap here that allows it to come out the sound to come out.

Debie: So you get that big sound without big speakers. Ohh, where are they?

StaurtSilloway: They are back here, and then we have a little slot on the side here.

Debi (Designing Spaces): Oh that is amazing. This is it right here?

StaurtSilloway: Yeah, that’s where the sound comes out, but the big speakers are behind it. OK, so now that the room is all ready for ultimate sports viewing, I say we go take a look.

Designing Spaces: Absolutely.

StaurtSilloway: OK, lets go.

Designing Spaces: Wow, look at that. Oh, what a great picture.

StaurtSilloway: Thank you.

Designing Spaces: It’s just amazing how the brights are so bright and just the contrast. It looks great.

StaurtSilloway: It looks more natural, doesn’t it?

Designing Spaces: It does, yeah it really does.

StaurtSilloway: We’ve really tried to combine the best of both worlds. Remember we talked about the difference between LCD and Plasma? We’ve really tried to make this television a good combination of the attributes of both.

Designing Spaces: OK.

StaurtSilloway: So, Plasma has a little, deeper richer color than traditional LCD.  Our super clear panel on this LCD television helps LCD produce deeper, richer colors, more natural colors.

Designing Spaces: Right.

StaurtSilloway: The black levels are darker.  The white levels are brighter. And of course, that means that all the other colors, red, greens, blues.

Designing Spaces: Yeah, look at the red. That’s gorgeous. The grass, look at the grass.

StaurtSilloway: Yeah. Isn’t that great?

Designing Spaces: Wow. It’s truly like you feel like you’re there.

StaurtSilloway: Yeah.

Designing Spaces: You know anyone who enjoys sports will never go back to watching standard definition after seeing their favorite player or team on an HDTV set like this one.

StaurtSilloway: I hope not.

Designing Spaces: So let me ask you, if our audience wants more information on HDTV’s where should they go?

StaurtSilloway: Samsung.com, of course. Not only do we have a lot of information on our broad offering of high definition televisions, we have some general information on the technology as well.

Designing Spaces: OK, wonderful. Well Stuart, thank you and really everyone at Samsung for educating us on how the new generation of HDTV’s work and what we can expect from them.  So thank you so much for being here.

StaurtSilloway: You’re very, very welcome.
