A Nashville resident, Scott Sohr is particularly proud of several properties located in Middle Tennessee. One of those developments, Winterset Woods, is a promising community close to exclusive Brentwood, Tennessee, in Williamson County. Recently, Scott Sohr took some time to answer a few questions about the benefits and features of Winterset Woods.

Q: Winterset Woods is located in Nolensville, Tennessee. Could you tell us a little about the area?

Scott Sohr: Winterset Woods is located on the outskirts of Brentwood, a great city just south of Nashville. In fact, Brentwood is recognized as having some of the best schools in the state.

Q: Is the community conveniently located?

Scott Sohr: Absolutely! The neighborhood is only ten minutes from I-65, which will take residents either downtown or to the many businesses located in Brentwood and nearby Franklin.

Q: What about price point? Are these homes affordable for young families?

Scott Sohr: The homes at Winterset Woods will mostly be in the $300s, with an impressive square feet range of 2400-3500.

Q: Are there set floor plans or can they be customized?

Scott Sohr: The builders offer several floor plans, so each homebuyer can make the home his or her own. Homes are all brick, too, which is a plus for the overall look of the community.

Q: Could you tell us a little about the builder?

Scott Sohr: The homes in Winterset Woods are being built by Drees Homes and Celebration Homes, 2 of Nashville’s most respected home builders.

Q: Drees Homes and Celebration Homes have built in other communities in the Williamson County area, correct?

Scott Sohr: Yes, both are responsible of homes in numerous Williamson Country communities, including Burkitt Place, Arrington Retreat, Brookview Forest, Hurstborne Park, Breezeway, Port Royal Estates, Old Hickory Hills, Old Towne, and Berry Farms.

Q: What other amenities can residents of Winterset Woods expect?

Scott Sohr: The neighborhood offers two swimming pools, including a kiddie pool that features a waterfall. There’s also a clubhouse for parties and a playground for children.

Q: Do the homes include garages?

Scott Sohr: Yes, each home will include an attached two-car garage, with some homes offering the option of a three-car garage.

Q: Are the homes available for sale now?

Scott Sohr: Yes. The units have already begun selling, so it’s important for interested homebuyers to take a look at the homes as soon as possible to see if they are interested in buying.

Scott Sohr began his career while working on an undergraduate degree in Materials Engineering at Auburn University. He remained periodically active while continuing his education at the Owen School of Management, where he obtained an MBA in 1987. Sohr serves as Chief Manager at Elmington Capital Group, a company that procures collateralized debt from financial institutions across Tennessee, Alabama, and Louisiana. Through Elmington Capital, Scott Sohr seeks small to midsized entrepreneurial transactions that are generally too large for single financiers. The group focuses on undervalued investments that generate cash returns for stakeholders.

Today, Scott Sohr owns interests in several other flourishing neighborhoods just outside of Nashville – including Arrington Retreat in Nolensville and Woodmont in Smyrna.
