Television personality, author, and single mother Josie Bisset will join O2 Media’s morning talk show, ‘The Balancing Act’ as a co-host.

Josie will be joining hosts, Danielle Knox and Kristy Villa– giving the show a very well rounded and well grounded team. According to a spokesperson from O2 Media, Josie is not only an actress and familiar face to television and screen; she is also an accomplished author and single mother of two. She has written two books on parenting, “Little Bits of Wisdom” and “Making Memories.” In 2008 her own children’s book “Tickle Monster” won the Publisher’s Choice Award from the Family Magazine Group, Parents Choice Award and Parent Tested Parent Approved Award and to add to her credits she was honored in the same year by being named “Celebrity Mom of the Year” by the Mom’s Choice Awards. Her latest book, “Boogie Monster” was just published and hit the shelves in July 2011, reports O2 Media. She is currently in her 4th season of ABC Family’s popular series “The Secret Life of the American Teenager,” where she plays Kathleen Bowman, a newly remarried mother of two.
